Summer 2010- Kai's 1st birthday

What an awesome summer it has been! We went camping up at at Big Bear mountain and then to South Carlsbad State Beach. We then traveled to OR to celebrate Kai's 1st birthday with friends and family. Next, we flew to Flathead Lake to relax by the lake and see Cousin Mary. Thanks so much for all of your help moms, dads, brothers, aunts, uncles and friends with Kai's party. It was so great to see everyone! Thanks to those who came to the birthday party.

Kai did awesome for his birthday flight! Once in Montana we drove to Flathead lake, where cousin Mary lives. Wow what a beautiful home she lives in right on the lake. Our trip consisted of relaxing, laying by the lake, kayaking, hiking, fishing, jet skiing and played cards with cousin Mary. We also drove up to Glacier National Park where we had a wonderful picnic lunch (thx to Mary) and were truly blown away by what we saw. If you have never been to Glacier...it's a must. Truly one of the most beautiful places on earth. We hiked through a beautiful rainforest and ate lost of Huckleberry ice cream:)
We look forward for all that is in store for Kai's second year of life. What a sweet little boy he is! We love you! Happy 1st birthday Kai!There are a lot of pics so bare with me:)

Kai 11mths

Kai will be 11 months old this week. Crazy how time fly's by. He has 8 teeth and is growing like a weed. He loves veggie and fruit so he isn't a picky eater....so far.
We went camping over the 4th of July at Big Bear Lake. He was loving it by the end of the weekend. Here are some photos of Cory's 30th birthday party at our house and some photos of camping.

Kai 9mths-grandma Janice

Kai is standing up and almost starting to walk. He is so happy and makes us laugh so hard! Grandma Janice was here again and got to watch Kai while I went to work. We were suppose to go to Dinseyland for a surprise to her, but Kai got very sick. Next time:) Thanks mom for all that you did while you were here!!! you rock and Kai misses you already "it's grandma" lol.

Grandpa Loebl was able to come down and spend time with Kai and go to Cory's track meet. It was great seeing him. Thanks for making a trip down.

Kai 8mths

Wow Kai is almost 8mths already! Time goes by so fast when you have a little one:) Kai's 2 front teeth are in and he is almost crawling. Well he does get along on the floor but more of a seal crawl. He is super strong and loves to laugh. Cousin Karin, Mike, Leah and Sam stayed for a night before they left for their family cruise. It was so great to see them! Congrats Leah! Then Aunt Amanda was here for a week. We left Cory alone with Kai for 4 days and he had so much fun with Kai. Vegas was awesome and it was so great to catch up with my bestest! Next, Ryan, Ty and grandpa Gale came to visit for Easter weekend. Ty got to go on an easter egg hunt in the backyard and had all sorts of fun stuff to do while he was here. We also went to 2 Beaver baseball games. Kai first Beaver Baseball game and they won!! Kai really loved seeing all the boys. Grandma Janice sent some Easter gifts to Ty and Kai. Kaian at 6 mths

Wow I haven't had a second to update this blog. A lot has happened. We just moved to a beautiful little house in Long Beach about 1/2 mile from the LB airport. It's in a nice neighborhood and has a big backyard. Grandma Janice was here to help move and clean both houses.THANKS so much mom for your help! Grandma Janice also helped me start feeding solids to Kai and let me tell you...he loves his veggies!As you can see:)
Kaian is weighing in around 19lbs and has starting rolling over. He is so much fun!!! Dad is starting to travel for track season and teaching is going very well for him. Mom is getting healthy again after having a baby...slowly but surly:) Work is going awesome and still loving working with the animals.
We will be headed to Oregon this summer to celebrate Kaian's 1st Bday with family and friends. Our niece Shyla and nephew Chase (was born 9 days after Kaian ) will be traveling from Maui to celebrate their birthdays as with us! Can't wait!! We are hoping to travel to MT or Flathead lake to stay with cousin Mary at her beautiful lake house this summer. Then off to Glacier National Park and Yellowstone. This all depends on if we rent out our condo. If so we get to go:) Here are some pics of the family.
