35/36 wks update

So it has been a long month after being in and out of the the hospital for 5 days due to pre-term labor but the good news is we are all great! I want to thank all my friends and family for your support and visit to keep me company. All the food, magazines and movies have been so helpful. I want to thank my husband especially for all he has done!!! Being on bed rest is hard but good to relax before the baby comes. My best friend Amanda flew in for 5 days and was a BIG help. It was great to see her. So the baby is healthy and I am READY to give birth. Here is an updated belly pic of me at 35wks and a pic of Amanda and I. Hope all is well.

Baby pics at 30 weeks

This ultrasound was SO exciting. It was 3D so we got to see what the little man really look like at 30 wks almost 31:). It sounds like the doctor wants to induce labor at 38 or 39 weeks so that would be around August 12-19. He is perfectly healthy but mom seems to not be able to keep her blood pressure down. So to be safe I will deliver a little early:) Hope you are all doing well! Thanks again to all of you for the wonderful baby gifts!! We truly appreciate them:)

So it has been a very busy month! We are getting ready for the "little man" to arrive. We just had 3 baby showers, 2 in Oregon and 1 in Long Beach. So as you can imagine we got a lot of great gifts thanks to all of you! Here is a picture taken at this last weekends baby shower.
The baby has recently become VERY active and I can even feel his feet now! Weird but very cool. Well we will write again soon:) Hope you are all doing well.

Well I haven't had time to update our blog or get caught up on life:) But we are doing great. The baby is getting big and so is mom. I am almost 7mths now (one more week). I just got back 2 wks ago from a road trip with my mom. After 2 WONDERFUL baby showers in Albany, we hit the road and drove to Long Beach with all the baby gifts. We had a blast! I will post again soon with pics:) Thanks to all of you who made it t the shower. IT was great to see you!!!

Ultrasound at 23 wks (6mths)

Friday we had another ultrasound. Here are a two pictures of the little guy. One is of him sucking his thumb or trying to and the other is just his profile with his mouth open. Can't wait to see you all at the baby shower soon!

IT'S A BOY!! 20 wks/11 oz

Well today was our big day to find out the sex. It's a BOY! We guessed right. It weighs 11oz already (normally babies weigh 8 1/2 to 10 1/2 oz. We know what that means. Taking after it's dad who weighed 10lbs at birth!! oooohhh can't wait for that:) Here are some pics of the baby. They are hard to see but one is of the baby facing you. You can see the eyes, mouth, nose, an arm and foot. The other it is facing up and you can see it's profile along with the spine. Also a new family photo. My new due date is August 26th so I am 20wks along or 5mths.
